When you first walk into a State Botanical Garden with your camera in hand; you pause for a moment to take in all of the scents that linger in the air. Yet, you pause for another moment to absorb the thought of where you would like to begin photographing.

The State Botanical Gardens is a perfect teaching ground for the amateur photographer. The bright colors of all the exotic, tropical plants overwhelm you with a strong sense of expectations. You excitably begin your journey towards the first section of exotic flowers. As you are slowly walking towards them, you become aware of the heightened beauty that is surrounding you, you get your camera ready, and begin to capture the scene in front of you.

What are Tropical Flowers? Tropical flowers have a breathtaking fragrance and a very unique beauty that flower lovers just hold dear in their hearts. Some tropical flowers are Orchids, Rhizomes, Hibiscus, Heliconias, and so on. Tropical flowers thrive in natural tropical climatic conditions.

So, what are Exotic Flowers? Exotic Flowers are tropical flowers that are alien from other geographical regions usually from the Temperate and Polar regions. Not all exotic flowers are considered tropical flowers, it just depends what region they come from according to the equator.
