Follow me and let's take a walk through the Botanical Gardens. Along the way stop for a few moments and take in the warm fuzzy feelings that the beauty of the garden can give to you. Recently, as most of you already know I have set my goals and focus on becoming a more serious photographer. I believe that each artist has a certain focus and places a lot of attention into that focus. Photography has reached the top of my own personal goal list, I know what I want to focus on and I know what I want to accomplish. The Beauty of a Rose

am almost ashame to admit this, but roses are not my favorite flower. However, I have found like many other kinds of flowers and things in Nature, I love to photography them. Recently, I got a Nikon D3100 camera and I am trying hard to learn how to use it. It is not like my Fuji S1000 which was just a regular digital camera point and shoot. The Nikon is a much more advanced camera and I will admit at first did not like using it. The first time I took the camera out shooting, I took close to a 100 picture and only a hand full came out. I was so disappointed that I was tempted to return the camera and stick to using my Fuji. BUT that challenger part of me said, "NO WAY are you giving up!" So I practiced shooting pictures and just yesterday felt it was time to start using my larger lens. Read more at www.squidoo.com

WhiteOak Art Designs My inspiration for art is Nature without a doubt. I find so much beauty in the world that I do all forms of art to try and capture the beauty that I see. Since I work with so many different medias of art, I consider myself a Multimedia Artist. Finding ways to promote your art considering there are millions of other artist also doing the same thing is a little challenging, but rewarding also. In my case I just keep trying to place my artwork where people will see it and like others hope for the best.
