Inspirational Fairy Adoption Center

Back in 2007-08 I use to make little Inspirational Fairy Dolls. For each sale (adoption) I had a web site that I posted the adoption information on. Believe it or not this project brought a lot of smiles and joy to folks. Instead of having a web page, I now have a blog and this page will be used to list all of the adoption information for my new Inspirational Fairy Dolls .

Each Fairy is a OOAK piece of art. No two fairies will ever be completely the same.  Each fairy comes with her own birth card and small pouch of 'Fairy Dust'.

If you are interested in seeing which Little Fairies are up for adoption here is a link: WhiteOak Art Designs-Inspirational Fairies  As I make new ones, I will list them so be sure to check back often. Who knows you may find one that calls for you to take her home.

Okay, Here are the most recent adoptions:

This is "Whispers" she was adopted by Dawn-South Carolina     on September 25, 2014.

Whisper's message is:

"The Inspirational Faeries have a secret language that they speak to their new adoptive parent. The messages are heard right above a gentle whisper. The message always relates to good emotions. It could be joy, happiness or healing and in many cases all three!"

This is "Rebel" she was adopted by Chelsea-South            Carolina  on October 8, 2014. Rebel's message is:

"Little Rebel is a reminder that each of us has a rebel seed within. The fact of the matter is only a few will allow the rebel side to come out.  Always remember, even a rebel has a gentle side."

This is "GaiaLynn" she was adopted by: Jamie-Wyoming on October 17, 2014. GaiaLynn's message is:

"GaiaLynn reminds us that each precious gift we are given in life comes from Earth Mother-Gaia. We are reminded that only Gaia can give us unconditional love through her care and nurturing."

Dragonflies Love Fairy Gardens

Clipped from www.squidoo.com

Fairies can be Dragonfly's too!

Dragonflys love Fairy Gardens

One of the most magical things for me is to watch a dragonfly. I will often sit quietly and just stare at it. When they are around, I am filled with the same feeling as I get when I am watching a butterfly. The way they move and glide through the air reminds me of how a Fairy would flutter around a flower garden.

I love to challenge myself with new art projects. Imagination is such a wonderful tool we are given! As I was making one of my little Inspirational Fairies, I wondered what if I could make one that has a body like a dragonfly. After many attempts, I did it! I have only made two of them, one was adopted and the other lives in Colorado waiting to be adopted. Her name is Happy, because whenever I looked at her little face, it just made me feel like a child (Her picture is below).

This lens has done a complete turn around from the time I first created it. And as time goes on, I am sure it is will change again. So what are your thoughts, do you believe Fairies can be Dragonflies too?

A True Fairy Tale

Clipped from www.squidoo.com

A True Fairy Tale

Every fairy lover should see this movie!

Everyone knows how I feel about honoring the Child Within. One day while my husband was flipping through the channels on the television, he stopped on this movie about Fairies. I love fairies, I believe in them and when I watched the movie; A True Fairy Tale, I fell in love with it!

Supposedly, the movie is based on factual accounts. It is about two young girls that somehow had the ability to take pictures of fairies. This caused a huge stir throughout England during the First World War. The girls thought it was quite normal and were excited about having photographic proof that fairies truly existed.

But soon the publicity attracts unwanted attention~

Fairy Artwork at Zazzle

Fairy Art at Zazzle

Fairy Artwork by: WhiteOak

love fairies. I believe in them and I honestly love creating fairy pictures. The fairy art I do is not your typical little fairies, but are more human size ( I will go into more a little later). Now my fairy art has taken many turns in the short time I have been creating them. In the beginning of my graphic art experience, I knew I wanted to create some kind of fairy pictures and did it the only way I knew how at the time. So I sketched out fairy pictures, formulated the images in my mind and created my first pictures by manipulating different shapes and piecing them together. The Mermaid in this introduction module is among the first attempts of me trying to do fairy pictures.

My experience at doing art on the computer was very fresh, and there were many times when I wanted to give up and go back to the old school way of doing art. When I sketched, painted or drew I felt I had better control of what is being created. BUT the stubborn part of me said nope, I am not going to give up I am going to figure this out! So I created a couple more pictures AND even sold one!! I was shocked at that but very honored also.

Do you believe in Fairy's?

Do you believe in Fairy's?

Do Fairy's really Exist?

Being who I am and what I believe, I see this question the same as being asked if I believe in Angels. All of my life I have believed in Angels but have I ever seen one? To be honest, I do not think I have. I have always believed in Fairies, but have I ever seen one? Again, to be honest, I do not think I have. I can honestly say that I have felt the energy of an Angel which I wrote about on my lens Angels-Our Guardians and I have felt energies that I relate to faeries, and I will write about them below.

In my research I have found so many fascinating things to share, including the fairy hoax. I found some really good links and will list other information. I am going to list a few of the faeries favorite flowers and herbs. I may even include a Faery Tea I created.

No, you are not seeing things, I will refer to fairies as: Faery, Fae-Folk and Fairy

This is one of my fairy pictures that I created.

Fairy Bubbles & Fairy Kisses

Fairy Bubbles & Fairy Kisses

Homemade Faery/Fairy Bubbles

Blowing Bubbles, how many memories does that bring back for everyone? You know **leans in and whispers** blowing bubbles is not only fun for children, but adults love them too! Will they admit it? Most likely not, but do you know blowing bubbles is a way for you to honor your child within.

This Lens, is dedicated to blowing bubbles, having fun, working together with your children, and oh, did I mention having fun?

I am a firm believer in doing as many things as possible homemade. So this is a way to make wonderful Faery Bubbles, they are as beautiful as the little faeries their self. When the bubble pops...you are left with a small sparkling spot. This is known as a faery kiss! (so you may or may not want to use them inside the house!)

The photo used came from Photobucket created by: Cindy Sarcady
