love fairies. I believe in them and I honestly love creating fairy pictures. The fairy art I do is not your typical little fairies, but are more human size ( I will go into more a little later). Now my fairy art has taken many turns in the short time I have been creating them. In the beginning of my graphic art experience, I knew I wanted to create some kind of fairy pictures and did it the only way I knew how at the time. So I sketched out fairy pictures, formulated the images in my mind and created my first pictures by manipulating different shapes and piecing them together. The Mermaid in this introduction module is among the first attempts of me trying to do fairy pictures. My experience at doing art on the computer was very fresh, and there were many times when I wanted to give up and go back to the old school way of doing art. When I sketched, painted or drew I felt I had better control of what is being created. BUT the stubborn part of me said nope, I am not going to give up I am going to figure this out! Angel Art at Zazzle

Where do I begin to talk about Angels? I have loved them all of my life. My grandmother would tell me that I always had angels around me protecting me. It was not until recently I started created Angel pictures and everyone is very special to me. As with all of my artwork, somehow there is always a hidden message in the art. Each Fairy picture, graphic art picture, photo and even the angel pictures always speak to me. It is like these little messages appear and becomes a part of the theme of the picture. I hand make Inspirational Faeries and Inspirational Angel dolls from cloth. Each of the dolls is one of a kind piece of art and each has their own little personal messages. So in a sense all of my art has some kind of message attached to it. I am very attached to my artwork and always have been. That is why I always say that me doing art is so much than a monetary thing, I actually want to give something back to the world, if that make any sense? Read more at www.squidoo.com

Page of Art

Over the weekend I was doing some clean up at Squidoo.  When you have over 200 pages that you need to keep up with and refresh and so on, it becomes a task.  But while I was doing this it dawned on me that I had written over 20 pages of art related pages so I decided to combine them all into one page.    

Page of Art is considered a Lensography at Squidoo.  They are one of my favorite kinds of pages to create because I like the organization of them.  I always leave my guestbooks open so all of my visitors can leave a comment if they want too.  If you get a chance stop by and take a look.

Finding ways to promote your art considering there are millions of other artist also doing the same thing is a little challenging, but rewarding also. In my case I just keep trying to place my artwork where people will see it and like others hope for the best.

Nature Pictures-A Short Journey into my world of Photography-

I am really a very young rookie when it comes to taking photo's. I believe I started taking pictures this year with my garden and flowers. It was just two weeks ago, that my husband and I went on a mini vacation and I decided to take my camera and take some pictures. During our mini vacation, I had my laptop with me and my husband taught me how to use a program that he had installed on my computer a long time ago. During our weekend it was real rainy and over casted but we decided to go explore anyway, plus we both love the rain! Because of it being so over casted, some of the pictures came out real dark, so I corrected them with this new computer program that my husband taught me how to work.


My Pagan Graphic Arts -

I have been doing art on the computer for just about 3 years now. My husband is the one who introduced me to it and he has been doing it for over 10 years. I going to post of his work on below.It is almost funny to see some of my artwork today compare to when I first started doing graphic art. It is not the easiest form of art to do, but oh, my goodness you can make beautiful pictures. I still do a fast sketch of some of my pictures before I create them on the computer sometimes. Plus, I adore sketching!



Food for thought

Ever since I was a very young child, I have been involved with some form of art. Writing, drawing, sketching, ink and so many other things, I have learned for me that art is very therapeutic.Through my art I can express myself of things that I would normally keep locked inside. I have found that many artist feel the same way. I believe if I ever wanted to be something other then what I already am, it would be an Art Teacher working with people to help them release some internal emotions they may keep bottled up.

Art truly is a way of Self-Expression!
