Angels-Guardians and Protectors
Angels
Angels-Guardians and Protectors
Angel means Messenger in many different languages. Angels' form and appearances will vary on the needs and expectations of those requesting help. They are neither male nor female, but can appear as both. They are beings of "Light" energy. They came into being as a link between the Divine and humanity. The messages can be warnings of danger, instructions as to what needs to be done in particular situations, and even to protect us from enemy forces that we may not be able to see with our human eyes. Although Angels may be viewed differently than Spirit Guides they both have the same purposes. Spirit Guides have been referred to as separate entities that watch, teach, heal, guide and protect you, as well as delivering messages. In my own experiences they both do the same thing for me. So what is the difference? I believe that our Guardian Angel stays with us for as long as we are on this Earth, and our Spirit Guides only stay with us until we are ready to advance into another level of learning. I believe we have many Spirit Guides and have only one Guardian Angel. Regardless, this is not a debate. Everyone us need to believe in what we feel is right for our own journeys.Read more at www.squidoo.com

Wiki says: "Spirit guide" is a term used by the Western tradition of Spiritualist Churches, mediums and psychics to describe an entity that remains a disincarnate spirit in order to act as a guide or protector to a living incarnated human being. Traditionally, within the spiritualist churches, spirit guides were often stereotyped ethnically, with Native Americans, Chinese or Egyptians being popular for their perceived ancient wisdom, saints, or enlightened individuals. Nevertheless, the term can also refer to Animal Spirit Totems, Angels, or nature spirits. I decided to write this lens because of a conversation I was having on one of my blogs. I had mentioned something about my Spirit Guides and Animal Totems. From my own experiences, I will be honest here and say if it was not for my Spirit Guides and/or Guardian Angels I would NOT be sitting here writing this page.Read more at www.squidoo.com

Our Animal Totems
I write about this topic often. Everyone of us have several different "Animal Totems" throughout our life. Often the concept of your Animal Totems is not understood but seen in a different way, which is okay. Everyone of us absorbs information the way we need to so we can understand it. I wanted to share a few of my own thoughts and a few of my links to pages I have written about this topic.
First, what is an Animal Totem? An animal totem is the spiritual aspect of an animal that teaches and guides us through certain situations in our life. They work with us on a high spiritual level to help us co-exist and get through a lot of real-life situations and ordeals. My knowledge about Animal Totems has came from Elders, my own Animal Totems by visions and deep meditation (also known as Shamanic Journey's) and also a few books.
Throughout our lives, different animals will appear to help us through different situations. Each animal carries a certain "Spiritual Animal Medicine" such as Deer teaches us to be kinder, rabbit teaches us to listen closely, hummingbird's remind us to be joyful-These are only a few examples. I plan on writing a lot more pages focusing on each animal, it will take a lot of time, but it will be worth it.
Here are some pages I have written so far. Please take a look and if you would like leave a message in the guestbook it would be greatly appreciated. Never be afraid to ask questions, because someone will always try to answer it.
I am in the process of writing a page now about Butterfly and Dragonfly Totems. So I will list that link shortly.
Thanks for stopping by,
