Legend of the Witch Ball

Witches Balls

Legend of the Witch Ball

Witch Balls are beautiful colored spheres of blown glass. They are created in a way that thin strands of material gather on the inside of the sphere creating somewhat of a web design. They are perfect for any home's décor, especially for the kitchen. I have two, one green one that hangs by my kitchen window and a new aqua blue that I plan on hanging in my living room.

The Witch Ball is full of history dating back to the 18th century. The designs became very refined back in the Victorian Era. They are hung in the window for protection against evil spells and negativity. It is said that the beauty of the sphere attracts these spirits and their energy gets trapped inside the glass sphere, protecting your home and environment from harm.

Friday the 13th-Luck or Not?

When it comes to superstitions and horror somehow Friday the 13th always pops up! With horror films such as Silent Hill and the Amityville Horror, and the Friday the 13th series, no wonder Friday the 13th gets a bad rap.

From a young child I was always told, all kinds of horrible things happens on Friday the 13th because it is a very bad luck day, blah, blah, blah. Did you know that many times ALL OF THE BAD things that happen on that day could be because you are physically manifesting them, an embedded fear of that superstition so to speak?

Superstitions and/or Folk Beliefs stem from myths and prophecies. It is taken from a belief or a half of a belief with no rational substance. When we hear many things it goes into our limbic system and it is stored there. When we hear certain things or smell certain scents it triggers the memory of hearing about something and it creates a fear or whatever emotion you had when you first heard it.

Spiritual Protections

Spiritual Protection

The Importance of Spiritual Protection

Protection: 1. the act of protecting or the state of being protected; preservation from injury or harm. 2. a thing, person, or group that protects: This vaccine is a protection against disease.

Well, I understand everyone knows what protection means. There are many area's to apply this too, there are many concepts to the word in general, but I want to focus on the importance of using protection in the Spiritual/Pagan Concept.

Why use protection in the first place? Why do you cast a circle before doing a spell? Why is there a need to shield yourself from certain people? There are only a few questions that I hope to answer throughout this lens.
