Ghost vs Spirits

Is there a difference between Ghost and Spirits?

As I write this lens, I too will be learning the difference between ghost and spirits. I know in general conversations when people speak about this subject, they will refer to ghost/spirit in the same context. Is there a difference? Lets start here...

Wikipedia A ghost is said to be the apparition of a deceased person, frequently similar in appearance to that person, and usually encountered in places she or he frequented, the place of his or her death, or in association with the person's former belongings. The word "ghost" may also refer to the spirit or soul of a deceased person, or to any spirit or demon.

Hauntings in Georgia

Haunted Georgia

Why are so many people drawn to spooky, haunted things? Have you ever thought about it? Why do we pay the money to go to haunted houses on Halloween? Why do we love to watch spooky movies, especially if they are based on true events? Oh, my goodness when I went to see "Texas Chainsaw" and read it was based on a true story, I freaked! Did I watch the movie yes, have I re-watched the movie? Yes!

The truth is, Georgia like all other states has a lot of ghost stories, especially in the mountains and South Georgia. The old gothic feeling of Savannah is a must see. Oh, and I promise you will see or feel a ghost while you are there!

I know you will find some interesting things on this page and hopefully you will share some of your own experiences in the guestbook.

Scariest Places on Earth

Scariest Places on Earth

The Paranormal and Supernatural

The paranormal involves many different aspects of the supernatural. It has a lot to do with haunted houses, ghost and spirit visitations and so much more. Almost every state, country and region has haunted and chilling tales to tell. I am almost positive it would be hard to determine where the most haunted place in the world was because there are so many. So this page is about many haunted events in houses, hotels and graveyards that I have found.

Living in a haunted house can bring a lot of anxiety into a person's life. When it comes to the supernatural there are facts that have been proven both physically and scientifically. Or should I rephrase that and say, some occurrences cannot be proven wrong by scientific theories.

Why do ghost exist? Do they exist? Why do ghost haunt certain places and some places are never haunted? The questions are never ending, and yet the paranormal activities continue. In today's world with more and more people searching for answers, there are many paranormal investigators becoming available to help you. I have several listed on this page and my hopes are to have more as this circulates.
