Spring in the South

The one thing I love about living in the South is Springtime when the flowers begin to bloom.  I cannot honestly choose just one or two favorites because I love them all.  This is a collection of some of my recent photography that I uploaded to FineArt.  This is just a small collection hoping to share with you some of the beauty I see of the New Season.

This is a moonflower that I grew this year. I was excited about it because (like year-except I forgot) I was afraid they were not going to bloom.  But they wait for September for me anyway.  A moonflower is a very unique beautiful flower that not only smells enchanting, but is magical to see.  It only blooms one time, one night and than its life is over.  So for a short few hours, the world is blessed with their existence and there beauty until sunrise.

The Night has Ended

This photo is a moonflower at the end of its life cycle. The closer they get to dying, the more their scent goes away.

t is a little strange how all of this came about for me. The other day I was shooting some photography of a white rose and a cream colored rose. When I uploaded the pictures they all had a "Wedding Theme" look to them. So I decided to start a Wedding Items category at my WhiteOak's Photography Zazzle Gallery. So far I have only listed two different sets of items such as Wedding Invitations, Matching Envelopes, postage, stickers, R.S.V.P. cards and a few other items. I honestly believe that most women planning a wedding works with a tight budget, and ordering the "Full Package" at zazzle would be cheaper than having everything professionally printed. The photo in this module is on a set of invitations called "The Sacred Union". I am going to try and list out several products I have done so far. Basically this page will remain a work in process. I will also be updating The Halloween Bride Wedding Planning Guide before Halloween arrives. I have several new ideas in mind for The Halloween Bride!! Read more at www.squidoo.com
